The book I want to recommend to English learners is Big Nate in a Class by Himself (大頭尼:我注定要做大事).

The main character of the story is Nate Wright, who is a imaginative and fanciful 7 grader. He is not a model student at school, but believes that he will do something great in some day. If you wonder how a student like Nate who has little interest in studies and in conforming to school rules can actually make a success in school, just grab the book to read. Later, you will find that you cannot stop reading it!

The book is a combination of comics and story. Every page has drawings of the plot. If learners don't understand part of the story, they can make a guess by seeing the drawings. In fact, I would recommend English learners to buy the English book that has Chinese translation. It's because that one provide many learning materials for learners. 

1. It provides pokers with some daily and useful phrases written on each poker.

2. Some important words or grammar rules would be explained on the margin.

3. An extra grammar book of the content is edited by the translator. Inside the grammar book, some tips about how to read an English novel is also provided. 

With the help of the learning materials, learners can have a better idea about how to read an English novel.
